This will be our seventh year participating in Vintage Houston’s annual fall, two day extravaganza at the 1940 Hobby Airport Museum, 8325 Travelair St., Houston, TX 77061. If you have never
been to this museum before, you are in for a nostalgic treat with Houston’s aviation history on display as the many exhibits roll back the pages of time prior to WW II. Inside the restored  terminal, Vintage Houston will have all kinds of vintage clothing, jewelry, artifacts, memorabilia, etc. from a bygone era for the whole family to enjoy. There will be entertainment that includes a style show, beauty contest, music and dancing. HVRA will exhibit vintage radios, records, and literature for show and sale, and provide music of the era as well! Activities will start at 5 PM on Friday and continue until 11 PM. On Saturday, the museum will open from 10 AM until 5 PM. Food vendors will be on hand along with exhibits in the front plaza, while airplane rides and exhibits are in the tarmac area behind. There is a small admission fee for the event that we encourage you to support. Bring family and friends – including the kids for this annual l fun event that I’m sure everyone will enjoy!
